Out of the blue, we ended up together this weekend and got to make a quick trip to the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
Kendra was there for a school assignment and we tagged along to watch the truly breathtaking IMAX Hubble 3D. The A-12 spy plane we’re standing in front of is unique in that it was the only A-12 trainer ever made. More information about this particular plane can be found here.
We’re off to Vancouver next month. I’ve been there before and Trisha hasn’t, except as a stopping point on the way to Victoria for a shoot.
I don’t know about Trisha, but I can add these to my must do list:
- Eat at Fritz European Fry House (it’s number one for a reason!)
- Shop on Granville Island
- Visit some good friends I have up in the area
- Walk far too much downtown
- Pay far too much for beer (c’mon Canada, you’re supposed to be the Australia of the north! What’s with the spendy beer?)
- Visit the Crystal Mall (sentimental reasons)
Aside from these, we will just be enjoying being on our first genuine vacation! I plan on leaving my laptop at home and aside from talking to the boys, I’m ignoring my phone.
Here we come, ya?
We had a lot of Fun at Hotel Maya and capped off the weekend with a trip to a cliff side park. This is where we first started recording updates and here is our very first!
For reference, the Star Princess looks like this:
